What it does
Send a photo of your paper diary page to the platform's WhatsApp number. The image is read automatically, dates and case names are extracted, and each entry appears on your Calendar as a pending capture for you to approve before it becomes a real hearing or event.
One-time setup
- Go to Settings → Profile (or WhatsApp → Settings) and find Your WhatsApp number.
- Enter your number in international format (e.g.
+233201234567) and press Send code. - If this is the first time you are using our WhatsApp number: Meta requires you to message us before we can message you. Send any message (e.g. “hi”) from that phone to the platform number shown in the app, then press Send code again.
- A 6-digit code arrives on WhatsApp. Type that code into the Step 2 of 2 box in the app — do not reply to the WhatsApp message with the code; replies are not read for verification.
- Once verified you will see a gold Verified badge and the date of verification.
Everyday use
- Photograph the page in good light, one page at a time.
- Entries land in Diary capture & pending on the Calendar page.
- Review each entry, attach it to the correct case, then approve. Approved entries become real hearings/events.
Why review first
OCR can misread handwriting and dates. The review step prevents a wrong date entering your court diary.
