Law firm billing software for Ghana

Record time, raise fee notes and invoice your clients in Ghana cedis, on your own letterhead, with the case file and the money in one place. Built for Ghanaian chambers and sole practitioners rather than adapted from a foreign practice.

What the billing module does

Time recording that fits court work

Record time against a case from the desk, the phone or an ambient timer, with UTBMS task and activity codes where a client requires them.

Fee notes and invoices in cedis

Quote and invoice in GHS by default, or switch the firm to USD from billing settings. Invoices carry your letterhead and your own payment details.

You are paid directly

The platform produces the invoice and tracks what is outstanding. Your client settles with your firm by bank transfer, mobile money or cash, and you mark it paid.

Profitability per case

See recorded time, disbursements, billed value and write-offs on a single case, so you know which work actually pays.

From attendance to payment

1. Record as you work

Time entries attach to the case and the fee earner, with narrative text you can reuse on the fee note.

2. Draft the fee note

Pull unbilled time and disbursements into a draft invoice, adjust narratives and rates, and apply your letterhead.

3. Send and track

Publish the invoice to the client portal or export it as PDF, and follow ageing on the invoices dashboard.

4. Export for institutional clients

Produce LEDES files whose totals reconcile exactly with the invoice, for banks, insurers and corporates that require them.

The rest of the practice

Billing sits beside cases, hearings, the client portal and drafting. See the full case management platform, or search Ghanaian case law for the research side.
